Joined Medical Education as a Lecturer in 2003, became Assistant Professor in 2008, Associate Professor in 2013, Professor (CAP) in 2018.
Published eight papers in peer reviewed indexed journals.

Dr. Archana Udayan is a qualified and experienced physician in the field of Physical medicine and Rehabilitation, with over 10 years of clinical practice.

She currently serves as a Junior consultant at district hospital Chengannur, where she provides comprehensive care and support to patients recovering from covid-19 and other chronic conditions.

She has a special interest and expertise in post COVID symptoms and rehabilitation, and she strives to educate and empower her patients and the public about this emerging health issue.

She has created and shared a video on post COVID symptoms and rehabilitation on social media platforms, which has garnered widespread attention and acclaim for its clarity and usefulness.

She has also participated in various media programs and events to raise awareness and provide advice on post COVID symptoms and treatment.

She has given talks on Anantapuri FM radio station and Doordarshan television channel, and answered live questions from the listeners and viewers.

She has also teamed up with KGMOA and DMO Kollam to conduct a zoom meeting on pulmonary rehabilitation, where she offered practical and helpful tips to improve respiratory health and function.

Dr. Archana Udayan is a dedicated and passionate doctor who aims to improve the quality of life of her patients through evidence-based and holistic interventions. Her areas of interest includes management of patients with Chronic back pain and Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation.
